I own the basic game (i.e., sans expansions), and I find it's quite fun and crazy. (It's just a pain when someone spills a drink on the Timeline, though.... *L*)

Chrononauts is my favorite non-Icehouse Looney Labs game, to date. When "Just Desserts" comes out, that may or may not shift around a bit. ;-)

There are three different games in one, so you'll likely find one that suits your fancy. Heck, even in the full version of the game there are two different ways to win (2 different "quests" to complete, one being your Mission to effect the timeline, the other being what amounts to your "shopping list").

I got to help playtest the Early Americans version, which is also fun, but I would recommend getting the original first.
