So, I now they dumbed down Stoner Fluxx for stoners (i.e. there's no "x=x+1" card, as math is HARD...lol).

They've released a 3.1 version of the Standard Fluxx, I think. What are its differences from the 2.8 version I think we had(yes...HAD...it apparently commited hari kari out of my bag one night, which I didn't know until I saw the cards all over the road a few days later.. *sniff*)

There is also EcoFluxx, which is what Im most curious about. When comparing it to the 3.1 Fluxx, it had 2 more ways to win, which seems like a somewhat interesting difference. Anyone have any idea what the new ways are, or other differences?

I still have Stoner, but am tryin to decide what to buy to replace my suicidal deck!!

Thanks, looneys!!

I really like the standard Fluxx, along with a couple of blank cards that we added in ourselves, like cocktail ingredients :)

I can't help you with the exact differences, but I bet I know who can: the owner at "It's Your Move Games" in Oakland (51st and Telegraph, across from Walgreens), has demo packs of all of the Looney Labs games, and she knows all about them!

So, while we're on the subject, anyone interested in a looney labs game night in the (east) Bay Area sometime?

The card list for 3.1 is at wunderland.com/LooneyLabs...x.html#list

That tells you the difference between 3.0 and 3.1, but unfortunately not between 2 and 3.

The main difference between normal Fluxx and EcoFluxx is that many of the goals only require that you have one of the keepers listed and *anyone* has the other. eg; "Birds eat Insects" means that you need Birds, but anyone (including you) can have Insects.

I enjoy EcoFluxx, but I've heard a number of people call it "weird" or say that it's more complicated.
